With the buzz about this album there is already plans for the follow up. The follow up is going to contain the same artists all remixing one of each other's tunes. Not sure on the full line up, however I can tell you we will be remixing Kid Robotik and will be getting remixed by B.Tone.
A lot of people have been describing Heartbeats as the 1st Glasgow up & coming producers album, however 2 years ago, when we 1st started making tunes, i was asked by a friend Bobby Casa to help him compile and album of Glasgow producers for a compilation CD called 'House It Going?' for his final project at Uni. He selected a range of artists he wanted on the album & i recommended a few too, then i mixed them together and Bobby had the CD pressed and sold around Glasgow record shops and online. Sadly I dont think it was a big seller however I know Bobby received an A for his project & presentation.
It's interesting to listen to the two compilation and hear how the Glasgow sound has changed in the past two and a bit years. Yes the albums were compiled by different people, so different artists and tracks were picked by both. However two years ago the only people i knew of playing dubstep in Glasgow were Mungo's HiFi & Fortified Sessions, but it was definitely on the up. Back then we were running *Diversion* and there was a lot of quality house & techno around instead, not that there isn't still, but there is definitely a wider range of music on offer these days.
